Meet Jacqueline Herrera of Herrera Esthetics in San Diego

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jacqueline Herrera.

Jacqueline, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Herrera Esthetics started with a passion for beauty and a desire to help others. Before starting Herrera Esthetics, I obtained a bachelor’s degree in psychology while running a bed and breakfast. Shortly after graduating I realized I didn’t have much interest in pursuing either of the routes and found myself in a tug a war in my own mind with being inspired with the beauty world, yet still wanting that one on one time with people. My hobby with beauty became an obsession and I personally have always wanted more vibrant clearer skin after suffering from horrible acne for almost my entire life. I eventually started looking at schools, got in immediately and soon fell in love with making other people feel beautiful in their own skin and giving them control through education. Herrera Esthetics caters to everyone, any age, and background, providing services that keep your skin looking healthy every day, at prices you can afford every month!

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Life never goes exactly as it seems, sometimes the “plan” we have for ourselves doesn’t turn out how we expect. For me, going back to school was a challenge and I felt a little bit like I had failed myself in some way. I tried to talk myself out of doing this because I had “already paid to much for my bachelors” or “people may think this career choice is a joke”. I have truly learned that money is a consequence of doing something you love, and when you love what you do, you never actually work. I can finally be absolutely in love with my work, and I now know the decisions I have made, and the journey I have taken to get here makes complete sense.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Herrera Esthetics – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
My company is called Herrera Esthetics and I specialize in different facials and skin treatments to keep your skin looking the best it possibly can. My company is my little baby and I try my hardest to pour my heart into each client giving them the best experience possible. I value every single client I have and really try to build meaningful relationships with them to give them a warm, comfortable, welcoming place to come back to.

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
My family and I are deciding whether or not staying in California is the best choice for us and are pretty fancied by Miami, Florida. Herrera Esthetics may be moving in the near future, but for now, where we are is perfect.

Pricing:

  • First facial is only $30, second, third and forth is $45 and your fifth is free!
