Meet Jacob Perler of CryoCafe in West Hollywood

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jacob Perler.

CryoCafe was born from the co-founders meeting to help grow a small part of Dr. Pat’s cryotherapy business, which was one component of his Sports Rehab LA company. After doing research and looking into the market, Jacob thought there was a whole market ready to explode with cryo, and decided to create a separate company and build the first consumer lifestyle brand around cryo. Assembling a team was a critical step, and after a year of development, CryoCafe’s doors opened. The experience, lifestyle, brand, and community is integral to what CryoCafe is. Our mission is to stimulate the mind and empower the body to take on your world.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It has most definitely not been a smooth road – and it never really is for early-stage companies. We’ve had many struggles in terms of education the market of what cryo is and all the benefits, of which 99.9% of the world has never tried cryotherapy. Other struggles come financially, with trying to grow and build market demand at the same time as supplying CryoCafe to the market as a premier brand. With financial struggles come team, marketing, and time struggles as well.

CryoCafe – what should we know? What do you do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
CryoCafe is the premiere cryotherapy lounge in Los Angeles, bringing an entirely new concept to the industry. We specialize in whole body cryo, localized cryo for spot treatments, and cryo facials. We cross between multiple industries, namely sports, recovery, health & wellness, and beauty. It’s very interesting to see the diverse group of clientele that we have and the dozens of types of benefits people see. I am most proud as a company of us being able to change the lives of thousands of people within our first year. Every day we hear testimonials from clients about how we make them feel better, whether it be physically, mentally, or emotionally. What sets us apart from the others is our brand, community, experience, and care.

What is “success” or “successful” for you?
I personally define success as my ability to change the world for the better. This is primarily measured for impact on lives, relationships, and stories. To be able to know that in 50 years from now I can point back and say I created something or multiple things, built them from the ground up, and had a positive impact on all of these people. That is a success.
