Meet Ira Jones of The Power Circle

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ira Jones.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I started as a security guard working in high-end retail. I always had a passion for high-end sneakers like Gucci, Louis Vuitton, etc. So I wanted to start a business that caters to middle-class and high-class people with getting all the same authentic products but discounted then resale for lil less then retail after tax. It took only a few shoes to realize how fun it was and making people happy with a saying (NEVER PAY RETAIL). As time went on, my contacts grew thru different retail stores like Nordstrom, Bloomindales. I started to get as many shoes that I didn’t have room at home nor did I want everyone coming to my house. So Feb. 2020, I decided to look for a retail storefront, March 2020 I was approved and in my storefront as the pandemic hit, I told myself I will not let anything stop me from the goals I had already placed in my mind so I was close to the public for walk-in but I sold so many shoes 2020 it was unbelievable. Now 2021, I have full inventory and open seven days a week.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
March 28th, 2020 I was going to have grand opening next thing I know the world shut down but not once did I get discouraged I told God look, I want to make this happen rather it’s pandemic or not. So new ideals came about. I would post on Instagram clients would pay thru different apps and pick up from my store literally just that simple.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about The Power Circle?
The power circle is a brand of elevating. We create the authentic high-end lifestyle thru shoes. Proving all top brands for less than retail. What sets me apart is excellent communication and going outta my way to make sure client is happy and offering a LAYAWAY plan. I’m proud that my brand has been looked at as a brand that can get the job done when clients need things.

We specialize in Nike Jordan Yeezy etc. but our main target is high-end Gucci Louis Vuitton Christian Louboutin. With our layaway plan we will be able to get items that you always wanted for discount and not pay all upfront.

What’s next?
My plans are to move into a bigger location where I can provide triple the inventory and also to allow customers to fill vip rather you spend or not you are important.
