Meet Ingrid Jordan of Faith Over Fear Productions in Hollywood

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ingrid Jordan.

Ingrid, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I got started just being a curious kid in tune with The Disney Channel activated my passion to act. I would relive scenes from Famous Jett Jackson, Even Stevens, Lizzie McGuire, The Proud Family, and Kim Possible. Down to their movements and different voice impersonations. I found my first love and fell for the big screen.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I honestly don’t think smooth roads exist, unless you are the daughter or son of a superstar already. My road is actually a continuous struggle due to an eye disease called Keratoconus. It makes life difficult but not impossible. I refuse to feed my mind as if I’m handicap. I found a positive out of this matter though. In my acting class, we use to have to have the script in our hands and read it while we were acting/performing. I couldn’t see the words, which prepared me to memorize the script faster and act without the paper in my hand.

We’d love to hear more about your work and what you are currently focused on. What else should we know?
I’m known for wearing hats, Not literally, just flexible in my different roles. I’m an award-winning actress, a producer, and casting director. I’m more so known for my acting, but the other titles aren’t far behind. A lot of people may have one hat to wear, which is fine, but I love showing my versatility. This is the only time I will wear three hats without it being a fashion statement.

Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
A valuable asset/quality I have is speaking Spanish fluently. In this day and time in the world and entertainment industry being bilingual is key. My ability to catch on so fast is also a great quality, so I’ve been told. Being a Master’s Class Chubbuck trained actor/student prepared me for my future endeavors with difficult roles and challenges. I have conquered every obstacle set in my path thus far. However, the main role that will solidify my success through my eyes is being a superhero in a Marvel movie and winning an Oscar.
