Today we’d like to introduce you to Ilyse and Kami Boudai.
Ilyse and Kami, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
After receiving my Master’s Degree in Psychology I decided to take some time off before I pursued my career. During this time I became pregnant and had given birth to four wonderful children within a five-year span. Shortly thereafter, having gone to many indoor playgrounds with my own children and hosting birthday parties.
I realized that there was a lack of play spaces that catered to children of different ages at the same time making it difficult for parents to entertain their kids. I decided to open up an indoor playground that filled this void in the community as well as allowing me to have the flexibility to raise my own family at the same time.
Has it been a smooth road?
Just like any other businesses there have been some small hurdles to overcome but It’s gone fairly smoothly the past 4 1/2 Years.

Kidz Korner is a family owned and operated business. We strive for cleanliness, safety and of course fun. During the week we are open for indoor play and during the weekends we host birthday parties. We also host special events for various holidays throughout the year as well as camp day trips. I think we’re most proud of seeing all the smiling, happy faces of the kids (and parents) as they play.
We’re unique in our own way because we have a virtual game system set up that allows the children to play games using their body. We also have a 3 level, 50 foot long climbing obstacle course. Parents are welcome and encouraged to participate with their children. Lastly, we’ve incorporated a few old school arcades which please our older guests.
Is our city a good place to do what you do?
Our city is fairly competitive. I would probably encourage someone starting out to find a location that doesn’t have many other similar businesses like this. In this field, you always need to be one step ahead of the game in order for you to stand out.
