Meet Ian Michael

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ian Michael.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I am a real estate professional who takes pride in educating my peers to create wealth through real estate. I first got into real estate in 20012 as a Loan Officer doing mortgages. But three years later, I realized my calling was helping people hands-on with the buying and selling real estate directly. I have done over 100 real estate transactions over the years and now my goal is to help more people accomplished their dreams. I have expanded my real estate group and now our goal is to help 70 families buy and sell real estate in 2021. Even with the pandemic happening in 2020 me and my team have had the best year in real estate yet. We have shifted our focused to educating the community with our virtual home buyer seminars and they have been a huge success. We take pride in assisting our clients to making the best real estate move they can make in their favor.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It hasn’t always been a smooth road. At first, real estate was tough for me. I’ve had to borrow money from family, get behind on bills, and say no to a lot of activities I couldn’t take time to do. Which was the result of me not taking it seriously and doing the bare minimum to get by. But I shifted my mindset to focus on helping others, not helping myself. I woke up one day and said to myself “I am not only hurting myself by limiting my capabilities but people are not getting the top service they deserve because I am not reaching out to help them. Since then, the business has been booming but more importantly, I am able to help more people and have the most satisfied clients ever.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Ian Michael Luxury Estates is known for educating the community on the process of buying and selling real estate. We are the millennial buyers go to agent not only to help with buying their first property but also teaching them about other avenues of investing in real estate also. What sets us apart from others is that we are known in the black community. Professionally and in the entertainment fields as well. We network well with the different communities. We have had Home Buyer Seminars at fun places like Brunch2Bomb and Urban Society Long Beach. Due to covid, we have transitioned to zoom seminars and we host the largest home-buying zoom seminars in LA.

Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
What makes me happy is helping people and making them smiles. And why not help people make one of the biggest financial decision in their life. That is why I am so passionate about real estate.
