Meet Huey G of Madesolid tv in Hollywood

Today we’d like to introduce you to Huey G.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Huey. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I started doing music as a teen then switched to film after directing music videos and seeing my great vision. 2018 moved to L.A. from Atlanta to pursue my film dreams. Left everything to come to L.A. and enrolled in L.A. film school. Started a media company and is in the process of shooting short films. Always been rooted in the community from Pine street in Atlanta to skid row in Los Angeles being the change in the community. Artist director and humanitarian my goal is to be the change the world needs to see.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Lost my best friend, grandma, and another friend in 2018. Moved to LA with lil of nothing just faith and made a way. Got off the plane not even having a place booked to stay but made it happened.

Madesolid tv – what should we know? What do you do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
Madesolid tv is a media company that focus on positive things and comedy kind of like opposite of shaderoom. Covers events and interviews artist. Most proud of bringing spotlight to independent artists and business owners. We don’t do negative press for clout that’s what separates us from other media outlets. Positive vibes only.

What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
My proudest moment has been the work we have put into the community from coaching youth to connecting with the less fortunate.
