Today we’d like to introduce you to Hanna Jung
Hi Hanna, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My name is Hanna Jung and I’m the co-owner of Purrple Waxing & Nails along with my business partner NB Kim. I manage the waxing side of our business and NB manages the nails.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
No it has not. We were very specific with what we liked in terms of salon design and decor so we did all the painting and furnishing on our own which we did not expect to be so much work. We really felt like we put our blood, sweat, and tears into our salon. It was also both our first time running our own business and hiring employees so a lot of learning curves. There was a lot of issues with our salon that needing fixing as well and also our front door glass shattered one day too. A lot of unexpected troubles like that.
We’ve been impressed with Purrple Waxing & Nails, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
We’re most proud of our salon interior because it was the result of our diy efforts and it reflects our salon’s vibes and atmosphere exactly the way we want it to. I think our logo is special as well because it’s the perfect blend of bikini waxing and nail art for our brand. We specialize in Brazilian waxing with hard wax and we’re known for our Korean nail designs. We carry all the new and popular korean nail art supplies and our nail artists stay up to date on trending nail designs. For waxing we are all about Brazilian waxes and treatments for the intimiate area such as ingrown care, brightening, or soothing masks. Our waxing services are quick but detailed with minimal pain.

Our city has a lot of restaurants and shopping centers. Traffic during rush hour can be bad.
