Today we’d like to introduce you to Hago.
HAGO the 23 years old Swedish singer/songwriter has been writing songs and performing all her life. 2016 HAGO released her first own single “Vi Lever Nu” and short after she released her first music video.
With strong lyrics about everything from love to passion, confusion and self love HAGO is demonstrating her musical extent with inspiration from 80’s pop, modern pop and influences from strong independent women. HAGO wants to inspire more young girls to follow their dreams.
Since 2016 it’s been nothing but success for HAGO. Her song “GRL PWR” got over 30 000 streams on Spotify in only a few weeks. And her song “I Dare You” went to the top list of the Swedish radio show “P3 Osignat”. Now she has over 80.000 streams on Spotify and doesn’t seem to be stopping anytime soon.
This is just the beginning for HAGO.
Has it been a smooth road?
Being an Independent artist means a lot of struggles, but I love working hard and I enjoy having struggles along the way cuz it means that I’m learning more and developing myself. It’s hard to be your own boss, manager, marketing and pr creator, songwriter, social media manager, and label. It’s a lot of struggles everyday.
We’d love to hear more about your work and what you are currently focused on. What else should we know?
I’m a singer and songwriter who moved from Sweden to follow my dream here in Hollywood.
Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
I love the creativity flow that is all over LA. But I’m constantly sad about all the homelessness, I wish we could do more and I’m thinking about what I can do to help everyone.
