Gunnar is a Beverly Hills-based personal trainer whose clients include celebrities, professional athletes, and everyday people. Gunnar works with each on an individual basis, focusing on achieving long-term results through challenging and constantly varied workouts. He is widely recognized for his expertise in functional training and his commitment to developing and implementing innovative fitness techniques. With over 20 years in the fitness industry, Gunnar’s dynamic approach, boundless energy and humor only add to the effectiveness of the experience his clients enjoy.

Has it been a smooth road?
I don’t look back at it as smooth or rough. I look back at it as GREAT! Everything along the way got me here and HERE is great! Everyone has struggles, there is nothing original about a struggle whether it’s financial, emotional, physical, trust issues, self-inflicted, psychological, or just plain tired! We push through, we focus on our short and long term goals, and we get after it.

The training business is self explanatory. The focus is on working with people and helping them become the best version of themselves in the most efficient and effective way possible. We use training methods from many disciples, including but not limited to bodybuilding, powerlifting, Olympic lifting, sprinting, boxing, functional training, and the list goes on. We proudly poach protocols from wherever we think will best serve our clients.
Our Gunnar Gym Design business designs, plans, lays out, and sets up commercial and residential gyms. We create specialty spaces that compel you to train with a purpose. What sets us apart in both our training as well as our gym design is that the process is fun. Everyone enjoys the results, that’s a given, but with us getting there is a good time too.
