Meet Tracy Longo of Guitar Tech Corner

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tracy Longo.

Tracy, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I started my guitar repair business in 1983, in a small music store. As I grew, I was able to be a certified service center for 16 different guitar companies. I have personally worked on or over 20K of guitars since starting.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Some stores I worked in closed their doors so I would move and build another shop. This went on about 5 times and now I have my own shop outside of any music store.

Guitar Tech Corner – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
I specialize in vintage guitar restoration… and have many great clients from all over the US.

What is “success” or “successful” for you?
Being word of mouth, I always have a steady stream of good customers.
