Meet Gregory Dylan of Gregory Dylan Skincare and Beauty in West Hollywood

Today we’d like to introduce you to Gregory Dylan.

Gregory, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
After 20 years in skincare and beauty, I decided to “break up” with the corporate world and venture out on my own. In returning to my roots and passion for effective skin treatments, I decided I would focus on advanced and results-based skin treatments and not “fluff” which is typical in many traditional spa settings. My treatments deal with all types of skin concerns from acne to anti-aging and utilize advanced modalities such as chemical peel, microdermabrasion, microcurrent, oxygen therapy and LED light.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
As with any new business, the biggest challenge is getting the word out and developing a client base. In a city like LA, there is always going to be competition, so my focus was to create a point of difference with a very personalized and high-end service. This was key in creating repeat business and a reputation for results that translated to online presence. It took a lot of patience in the first year or so.

Please tell us about Gregory Dylan Skincare and Beauty.
What sets me apart the most is that everything is customized and your time with me is one-on-one, so the attention is all on you. The privacy and attention to each client give them an ideal setting to maximize time with me and my 20 years of skincare expertise. The treatments are advanced and focused on creating visible results based on the client’s concerns and goals for their skin. Modalities include microdermabrasion, chemical peels, microcurrent, oxygen therapy, LED and more.

What I am very proud of are the reviews and online reputation. Seeing clients rave and praise their services and results makes me so happy that I can create that for them. It brings it all full circle knowing that my goal has been achieved in creating the best treatments and home care regimens for them.

Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
Haha, probably shopping with my mom in the 80’s. What a fun time and the fashion was so over the top. Of course, I would drag her through cosmetics departments and sign her up for the free facials and makeovers. I was like, mom! Why not?! Maybe that was the beginning of it all, lol.
