With over two dozen salon Professionals within the family, Phenix Salon Suites has a first-hand understanding of the Salon Industry. We are not a company that was founded by people that had a “business idea” but a family that has been in the Salon Industry for over many decades. Our experience in the Salon Industry and our approach to operating our locations with the Salon Professional in mind have proven to be a key to the success of our company.

Phenix Salon Suites is the fastest growing “Salon Suite’ concept in the US. The company now has over 150 locations nationwide with a strong concentration in California. The company has 100 new locations that will open during the next which will bring their total to 300 locations nationwide. The rapid growth of Phenix Salon Suites has been through the “Salon Community”. The Phenix Salon Suites difference is in truly understanding the Salon Professional and what they go through on a daily basis. After all, the founder of Phenix Salon Suites (Gina Rivera) still works as a Hair Dresser and leads an International Artistic team for the company. In addition, it was bestowed the award as a Top Service Provider. Keeping up with the rapid growth and popularity of the brand requires strong strategies in the areas management and expansion.

The story of Phenix Salon Suites is about a family that first entered the industry 85 years ago. Generations of stylists followed, the company has a strong understanding of what salon professionals want and need. Fulfilling that need has become the primary focus of this company. That strategy has proven very successful, earning Phenix Salons a spot on Entrepreneur’s Top 500 Franchise List.

Being lead by President, Gina Rivera, the company is set apart by the fact that she worked for 25 years as a hairdresser. This provided an in-depth understanding of some of the challenges that Salon Professionals face. Phenix Salon Suites seeks to address challenges by offering the sole proprietor the opportunity to own and operate their own business at a fraction of what a full-scale salon would cost to operate.

If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
I am a firm believer that to be successful you must have trials and errors in your history. I welcome challenges because with every challenge we improve as a company.
