So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I came to the United States in 1981 to explore the country with my best friend. I fell in love with the way of life here, and I decided to stay. My passion for cars led me to the automobile industry, where I began working in a new car dealership. With the correct mentors and personal drive, I learned the ins and outs of the business. Ten years later in 1990, I decided to open my own independent, used-car dealership, Valley Coach Company Sales and Leasing. I was excited and nervous to go on my own, but I was able to implement my own style and values. I have always liked working with people and sharing my knowledge and experience about cars.
I am proud to say after 30 years in Van Nuys, California, the business is still thriving. We offer quality cars at competitive prices, hassle and pressure-free while taking pride in our customer service and reputation. It is very satisfying to sell to repeat customers and referrals. Due to the internet, we are able to sell cars all throughout the United States, and sometimes abroad! By special request, we can “hunt” for unique cars. Being a broker, Valley Coach can also sell and lease new cars. It is fun to do something you love so much!
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
The road has not always been smooth, but Valley Coach has learned to preserver through the challenges. We have adapted to the constant changes of the business throughout the years.

I believe what sets us apart from other used-car dealerships is our no pressure car buying experience, the integrity in which we conduct our business and my 40 years of background within the car industry. All of our cars go through a thorough mechanical inspection before being presented for sale. We stand behind our cars and maintain relationships with our customers for any of their future automotive needs. As a whole, I am very proud of Valley Coach.
