Today we’d like to introduce you to Gabriela Gonzalez
Hi Gabriela, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
In June 2023, I made the courageous decision to leave my beautiful home country, Guatemala, driven by a desire for new experiences and growth. As I settled into my new life, I found myself missing my dad, Antonio, always knew how to make me laugh with his incredible sense of humor. My mom, Delia, provides comforting hugs that magically dissolve all my worries, wrapping me in warmth and love. Her hugs are like a sanctuary where all my stress melts away and the joyful moments with my sister Karen and older brother Hugo. The moments with my cousins, friends and the rest of my family. My phone, loaded with memories of my family, became my constant companion.
Despite the distance, I continued to capture every moment, sharing new foods, places, and experiences with my loved ones through pictures and videos. This passion for documentation soon led me to the world of content creation. I discovered a community of creators who not only shared their lives but also received opportunities like free products and event invitations.
Moving to a new country was not without its challenges. I faced an identity crisis, a common struggle for expats as they navigate their new surroundings and redefine themselves. There were also high expectations and pressures to succeed, which often led to burnout and exhaustion.
However, I found solace in creating art, making blogs, and engaging with strangers online. My phone and internet became my tools for overcoming depression and connecting with others. In March 2024, my life took a significant turn when I started my actual relationship with Oscar, who became my rock and greatest support. His family, along with my friends Sherlyn and Nina, formed a supportive network that helped me thrive in my new environment.
Today, I collaborate with brands, creating organic content that resonates with others. My journey from Guatemala has been one of self-discovery, resilience, and the power of human connection. It reminds us that even in the face of challenges, creativity and kindness can pave the way to a fulfilling and inspiring life.
Guatemala, though often overlooked, is a country that embodies the spirit of resilience and beauty, and it will always be a part of me, guiding my path as I continue to capture and share the world around me
As I continue on this journey, I am dedicated to becoming the most successful and powerful version of myself. My goal is not just personal achievement, but to share my good times and successes with the people who have been by my side since the very beginning. I am driven to create a life that honors their love and support.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
My journey has not been without its challenges. One of the most significant struggles I faced was the identity crisis that often comes with moving to a new country. Leaving behind the familiar surroundings and loved ones in Guatemala, I had to navigate a process of self-discovery and redefinition. This journey of unveiling and rediscovering myself was both exhilarating and painful, as I grappled with who I was in this new context.
Another major hurdle was the high expectations and pressure I put on myself to succeed in my new life. The desire to make a good impression, adapt quickly, and excel in my new environment created unrealistic expectations, leading to periods of burnout and exhaustion.
Throughout this journey, it has been crucial to acknowledge and celebrate my small victories. Whether it was mastering a new language skill, navigating a complex bureaucratic process, or successfully collaborating with a brand, each achievement has been a milestone. These small wins have kept me motivated and reminded me that every step forward, no matter how small, is a step in the right direction.
By recognizing and celebrating these victories, I have been able to stay positive and focused on my goals, even in the face of adversity. This mindset has helped me transform my challenges into opportunities for growth and has brought me closer to becoming the successful and powerful person I aspire to be.

As a content creator, my work revolves around capturing and sharing meaningful moments through various forms of media. I specialize in creating organic, engaging content that resonates with my audience. Whether it’s through photographs, videos, or written posts, my goal is to tell stories that inspire and connect people.

What matters most to me is the connection and impact I have on the people around me, both in my personal life and through my work. My family, who are back in Guatemala, are the cornerstone of my life. The love, support, and values they instilled in me are what drive my actions and decisions. Even though I am physically distant, staying connected with them through my content and sharing my new experiences with them keeps me grounded and reminded of where I come from.
These aspects matter deeply to me because they are intertwined with my sense of purpose and identity. They remind me of where I come from, the people who support me, and the positive impact I can have on others. In a world that can sometimes feel overwhelming and disconnected, focusing on these core values helps me stay true to myself and create content that is meaningful and authentic. By prioritizing these elements, I am able to live a life that is not just about personal success but also about contributing to the well-being and inspiration of those around me
