Today we’d like to introduce you to Frank Wiegers and Judith Claire.
Frank and Judith, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Once upon a time there was a former fighter pilot, turned love, sex and relationship coach, who met a successful L.A. personal, career and relationship counselor at a tantric yoga event and they lived happily-ever-after. Really.
Then they created a business together.
That’s basically how our company, started. It was a natural outgrowth of Judith’s and my combined personal and professional experiences, missions and love. We branded it Top Gun Love–For Sizzling Sex and Lasting Relationships because I had been a fighter pilot and because the analogy was a perfect fit for what we wanted to achieve.
As a fighter pilot, I was motivated to be the best at what I did, a “top gun.” I never stopped learning new techniques and took every opportunity to practice. Only excellence would do. As a counselor and writer, Judith held the same high standards. We both had a steely intention for you to soar.
Judith and I don’t want you to just get by, or to be an okay lover or partner and have ordinary sex, if any, or a tolerable relationship. Man or woman, single or in relationship, we want to help you to be a skilled “top lover” and a “top mate.” We want you to find your soul mate and have the juice, joy and satisfaction in sex and relationship that being trained and knowing what you’re doing brings.
Towards this end, Judith and I do dating and couples coaching, and on-line seminars.
Along the way we saw how clueless many of our clients were about the opposite sex and how many of their problems were gender-based, not personal. This inspired us to write our award–winning book, So THAT’S Why They Do That! Men, Women And Their Hormones. It’s the only book out there that explains how male and female hormones impact so many of the conflicts men and women have in sex and relationships. More importantly, it shows how to deal with them and create harmony and tolerance. It’s the ABC’s of love, sex and relationships.
We have also shared our expertise at popular events such as the Los Angeles Sexual Health Expo, on shows ranging from CBS News to XM/Sirius Playboy Radio to The Adam Carolla Show and Dr. Phil; and in podcasts, articles, blogs and the Amazon bestseller, The Vision Board: The Secret to an Extraordinary Life.
Has it been a smooth road?
Yes, struggles. The biggest challenges have always been time, marketing and finding the right people to help. And it’s all a learning curve when you’re starting something brand new, and everything we did was new to us.
Since we both work, carving out the time to develop Top Gun Love has always been tricky. Creating our site, www.topgunlove.com took a lot of time and writing the book meant getting up early every day and diving in before work for about three years. Then not only did we write it, but we self-published.
The best ways to market these days are rapidly changing and usually involve the internet, social networking and on-line marketing. Judith and I can safely say this is not our area of expertise. Hey, we’re not like you millennials who are born with genius internet and social marketing DNA. Of course, we’re on Facebook, twitter and You Tube, but reaching those who want and need our services continues to test us. As does finding the right people to market our book and courses.
On the plus side, perseverance pays. We’ve got a strong brand and we’re delivering great products.

What sets us apart is our vast level of experience. Both of us have been studying love, sex and relationship for over 40 years. Judith has had a successful Los Angeles counseling and coaching practice since 1978. We’ve helped A LOT of people.
Also, personally we’ve been around the block, as you will see from our bio in www.topgunlove.com. Together we bring over 120 years (and counting) of know-how to the table. All of which, happily, has helped us to create the passionate, fulfilling relationship we dreamed of. So we know healthy, We know success. Many counselors and coaches are either not in relationship or happy in the one they have. We know what to do to help you be a great lover and partner because we walk the walk.
We are most proud of our dedication to our clients. Our commitment to help them achieve their relationship dreams and goals. We did it and we can show them how.
