We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
As far as Allegra Music Academy the struggle is getting the word out. Letting people know we are here. It is a building process.

We’d love to hear more about your business.
Allegra Music Academy provides professional and effective music education while creating a fun and fulfilling learning environment.

All of our teachers have their music degrees and are highly qualified to teach all ages and all levels.

Lessons are taught one-on-one or in groups with a professional instructor once a week. Lessons are thirty minutes for beginners and up to an hour in length for advanced students. Simply call or stop by to sign up. All ages are welcome. It’s never too late or too early to begin. We accept students from ages two to ninety-two

What were you like growing up?
Growing up in Long Island, I always had music in my house. My mother was a piano player and my Uncle Frank was a saxophone player. I started playing the clarinet in 7th grade switched to the sax in 9th grade. One day I heard a recording of the legendary jazz trumpet player, Maynard Ferguson. The rest was history, I switched to the trumpet in 1oth grade and there was no looking back.
