Dominee, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
Fashion Dollhouse Boutique was created to empower women internationally of all shapes and sizes to be confident in themselves and who they are. We provide these strong women with quality and unique styles at a reasonable price. With new arrivals dropping weekly, we ensure that all of our dolls are confident and ready to take on the world in whatever they have on.
Our brand started out in the art & framing gallery of my husband business. Originally, Fashion Dollhouse Boutique was a humble, quiet business in Moreno Valley, California. Five years later, it’s taking over online and social media fashion, providing the latest trends and new styles each week for small and plus size women.
Who is Dominee Gibson? A queen boss. A California girl, always recognized for my unique style and eye for new trends. I’m a mother of two girls using my fashion sense and savvy business skills to turn my dream into a reality when I launched Fashion Dollhouse Boutique.
My girls were my ‘WHY’ when I first decided to go into business for myself. It was important to build an empire and a legacy for my girls to have. Still personally selecting styles for the store, I make it a point to make all of our Dolls (clients) the trendsetters among their circle.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Business is not a smooth road. I tell clients and those wanting to go into business for themselves that the road is not paved with GOLD. IT’S A SACRIFICE. I can remember a time before all the cute trendy fashion ideas came to my mind, I was a single mother raising my girls. We became homeless living in a house without water, power, and electricity at night.
One may say, at least you had a roof over your head, which is true, however, the warmth of a home was not the feeling we got. The struggle wasn’t until I have to exchange cans and bottles for $5 box of pizza to feed my girls at the time DAILY (two years old and ten years old.) Living in this state for a short time empowered me to hustle and work hard to make my dreams come true.
I would never let anyone tell me that I CAN”T do something. The word CAN’T wasn’t even apart of my vocabulary.

Fashion Dollhouse Boutique is a full service online trendy affordable woman’s boutique. Our online store caters to sizes small to plus size. We specialize in unique trendy pieces on weekly basis.
Once a style has sold, we select new pieces the following week. Never repeating. We ship orders to 12 states within a two business day turn around. I am most proud of the loyalty that my clients aka DOLLS, provides to the Dollhouse.
What sets us apart from the others is the consistent customer service we provide one on one to every customer who shops with us be it online or in our showroom.

My main mentor and supporter is my dedicated husband, Will Gibson. He also is a business owner for over 22 years in the art and framing industry. He had mentored me through the ups and downs of business.
