Today we’d like to introduce you to Erin Alls.
Erin, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I grew up in a small town in Virginia my mother was a real estate broker and my father is a real estate investor.
My first job was working on job sites for my father’s renovations and rent collection on his properties. Real Estate has always been front and center in my life growing up. That said, It is always something I never wanted to do for a living. As I wanted to get as far away from Real Estate as I could.
I moved to New York City after college to pursue film school. Shortly after the completion of film school, the entertainment industry took a dive in New York because the city was still in recovery after 9/11.
In order for me to stay in a City I was growing to love, I turned to the only thing I knew a lot about. Real Estate.
My real estate career in NYC was very successful. The practice was second nature to me and after a few short years, I became a Real Estate broker and the top producer for my international real estate firm.
During the end of my 12-year career, I met my husband who informed me that he was moving to LA for work.
Admittingly, like other New Yorkers, I hated on Los Angeles for years but I was left no choice but to follow the love of my life to LA LA Land.
I opened a sister office for my New York Brokerage which became rather successful in a few short years and my partners and I could not see eye to eye on the progression of the firm. I took a leap of faith resigned and started my own business. Silicon Beach Homes. To date, we have completed over 90 Million dollars in Sales after being in business for three short years.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Owning and Operating a business is not always a smooth ride. However, it is incredibly rewarding to work for myself and to build a brand from scratch.
I am a firm believer that if being an entrepreneur was easy everyone would be doing it.

What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
The proudest moment of my career thus far is being the owner and operator of a small but successful firm in one of the top tier real estate markets of the United States.
