Today we’d like to introduce you to Erica Arnold.
Hi Erica, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I began dancing at the young age of three in Salt Lake City, Utah where I built an amazing foundation and career in dance. Twelve years ago, I decided to move to Los Angeles to expand my opportunities and share my passion on a larger scale. While working in a studio and an in-school dance program, I met Marilyn Fordney, who recognized my potential and the vision behind my work. Inspired by what I was creating, she generously offered to fund my project- DREAM Dance Program.
DREAM Dance Program is a nonprofit that utilizes the art of ballroom dancing to teach kids to Discover, Respect, Express, Achieve, and Motivation.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Yes there have been struggles along the way. I uprooted my life in Utah to move to Los Angeles.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
