Meet Emily Villagomez

Today, we’d like to introduce you to Emily Villagomez. Emily was introduced to us by the brilliant and talented Dawn Airhart Witte.

Emily, thank you so much for joining us today. We’d love for you to bring our readers up to speed – can you introduce yourself and share your story?

My story started a longtime ago. Since I was a child I always had a connection to the mystical and other worldly. I would spend hours reading about myths and legends and often create my own stories with heroes who went on mythical journeys.

As I got older my focus shifted to personal development and transformation work. I read every book, heard every podcast, and When it came time to building a career I fell into coaching and discovered that my deep desire to learn about the mystical aspects of life and transformational work could be a career on its own.

Every one is on their own journey, my mission is to help people discover their story through the use of ancient spiritual principles and ground breaking transformational work to write the pages of their book of life one page at a time.

Please tell us more about your practice.

I help woman build a deep foundation of trust and love in themself. With a combination of ancient spiritual principles and transformational work I work with women to create a relationship with the deepest inner most parts of themselves to discover their untapped potential and live life at the highest levels, becoming an agent of change in this world.

It is a great joy for me to see a woman look in the mirror and truly love herself. Love the color and the lines of their face and body. Love their intelligence and gentleness and their ferocity. Love every part of who they are.

So, as we mentioned to our audience earlier, you were introduced to us by Dawn Airhart Witte and The Secrets of Being and we really admire them and what they’ve built. For folks who might not be as familiar, can you tell them a bit about your experience with The Secrets of Being.

I met Dawn during a leadership program we both took part in this past summer. She was assigned as my buddy for the first part of the program. We instantly clicked. Dawn has a beautiful and gentle way of communicating. You feel like you can open yourself up completely to her. No masks, No judgments. She creates a space for authenticity.

I got the opportunity to work with her in her new program: The Secrets of Being. The program was eye-opening.
In Dawn’s program there is a principle from Africa that we learn. It is central to the program and has had a profound impact on my life. Sawubona. Sawubona means I see you.

What you do impacts me and what I do impacts you.

When we as people come together we can accomplish great things.

Often times we think we are an island alone in our journeys but that is not true. Is it?

We are constantly connected and impacting those around us in small and big ways. Through Dawn’s course, I realized how much this happens. How the things I do, the words I say and even how my own presence can impact people and make a difference.

I have began to incorporate the concept of Sawubona in my life now and it has made a huge difference.

I am grateful to Dawn for creating that program. The course materials were incredibly helpful throughout the course. Our journals were thought-provoking and inspired conversation in the group. The principles I learned are going to be with me forever.

Other: Currently rebranding my instagram. Will share when the rebranding is done.
