Meet Elizabeth Regal of Envision Motion Pictures in Downtown LA

Today we’d like to introduce you to Elizabeth Regal.

Elizabeth Regal is a professional working performer as an actress, model, and dancer/aerialist for over 20 years, as well as Producer and Writer with her own production company Envision Motion Pictures. She was raised in Knoxville, Tennessee, but has family on her dad’s side in the Bay Area and San Fransisco. At age of 11, she was scouted in her middle school to become a model with Barbizon, but her parents encouraged her to focus in on her studies. In 1997, in Knoxville she was signed with Talent Trek and booked a background role in October Sky, she graced the cover of a local department store advertisement for “Watson’s”, shot the cover for Buffalo Exchange clothing, a few other magazines, and then appeared in numerous local commercials and theater productions.

In 2002, Elizabeth set out for her dreams to Hollywood as an actress like thousands of other hopefuls from all over the world to compete with the best of the best. She immediately got picked up by the biggest extras casting company in the world to movies and television “Central Casting” in Burbank and booked numerous background roles on a regular basis as “How I met Your Mother”, “CSI Las Vegas”, “Angel”, “Looney Tunes” the movie, “Santa Croce”, and various commercials that later turned into speaking roles.

In 2015, Elizabeth received a 2-page honorary press interview in The Hollywood Weekly Magazine, as well as an honoree guest panelist speaker at The Hollywood Weekly’s Film Festival film about the secrets of filmmaking. In April 2016, she guest starred in the Season Finale of Patti Stanger’s “Million Dollar Matchmaker” on WE Network opposite Rockstar Ralph Rieckermann (The Scorpions) on the Season Finale. She made a guest appearance on the hit CBS Television show “The Doctors” on being interviewed by Dr. Wendy about dating in Los Angeles.

In August 2016, Elizabeth starred in a sci-fi horror short “The Hybrid” created by 20th Century Fox and Percy Léon of Fantacular TV. The idea of the film was created by 20th Century Fox and filmed at the Alien Covenant film set at YouTube Spaces with the Red Epic Dragon film camera.

She owns her own production company Envision Motion Pictures and her films “Seductive Shadows” and “The Offer” she produced, wrote, and directed premiered at the famed TCL Theaters in Hollywood for Indie Night Festival. They received great reviews in The Hollywood Times and in other magazines and media platforms. She is set to premier on the front cover of The Hollywood Weekly, a press interview with CVH 1st Class Magazine, and a radio interview with Cameron Datzker’s segment on LA Talk Radio.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
My God this is a wide and broad question I could not possible elaborate in one interview. The road to fame and stardom is a long winding road full of illusions, deceptions, scams, spiritual transitions, and inner growth that less than 1% seem to achieve. I feel Hollywood is a highly spiritual place more than anywhere I have lived, it’s the battle between good and evil. When I came here in 2002, I was clueless like most, but I learned the ropes through tough lessons and the assistance of many mentors in the industry.

Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Envision Motion Pictures – what should we know?
I definitely see my brand being more sci-fi and thriller. I grew up watching horror movies and celebrating Halloween, as my mother would throw ridiculously huge Halloween parties for my family and friends. I mean Halloween in an entire Fall season in Los Angeles, unlike anywhere I have ever traveled.

Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
I feel success is created from the inside out, not labeled with just a single character trait. It is a mindset, talent, drive, extremely hard work, consistency, who you know and who knows you, and a few other secrets. 
