Today we’d like to introduce you to Elijah, Julian Ibarra, and Bryan.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
It all started when my parents remodeled my room and my dad bought me my first guitar, it was a Fender Squire, He told me not to touch it because it was for decoration only…. I didn’t listen. From that point, my dad put me in guitar lessons at Guitar Center. My brother decided he wanted to learn how to play the drums and took lessons there too. We started our own band at that time. We went through a few members until we ended up with just the two of us and our childhood friend, Bryan, our bass player.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
NO! It has not been smooth at all. It has been a struggle doing a lot of the “pay to play” gigs and also a major struggle with other members that didn’t have the same vision that we did. Once those members moved on to pursue their own things we were able to do the same. It has been a lot smoother since.
So, as you know, we’re impressed with Unknown Fate – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
We are a Santa Ana based alternative rock band, we write our own originals with some help from our coaches.
My brother and I originated the band in 2014, with the original name of “The Blue Orbs”. At that time, I was 13 yrs. old and my brother, Julian was 6.
I think what sets us apart from others is that the fact that we are all under the age of 18 and we write our own music.
We are most proud of our 1st EP, Socially Impaired, and the fact that we were chosen to do this interview and have our music played on two internet radios, Riot Radio and A.V.A Live Radio.
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
Our plans are to continue moving forward as a band and eventually go on tour.
