Meet Eli Kramer of YES! Embroidery in Studio City

Today we’d like to introduce you to Eli Kramer.

Eli, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I’m the youngest embroidery company founder in the country! I have been business minded ever since I can remember. I’m always looking for a better way, a better product, and to offer better service. At 17, I started working for a popular restaurant chain in Los Angeles. By age 20, I was managing the chain.

In elementary school, I would sell sodas to the other students for 50 cents each. The soda machine sold at 75 cents. I would carry in large paper bags of sodas each day, and without fail the handles would break off. At least once a week, I was mopping soda off the hallway floors.

After the restaurant, I got a job in sales for a car insurance brokerage. I learned the ins and outs of sales there, but it didn’t work out for me.

I got married at age 21, and my wife thought that I should get a college degree. I never fit in at school. I attended 4 high schools, and two colleges up to this point. I decided to try and finish my degree, if only to make my wife happy. At 110 credits, I felt that I had enough. I quick college to go back to work.

My father had a friend that owned a small embroidery company. I joined the company, and tripled its size in 2 1/2 years.

It was time for me to do something bigger.

Now, at age 24, I have my own embroidery company that is super unique. Using my lifelong business attitude, I created a company that offers the fastest embroidery in the country. We also offer unbeatable quality as well as custom embroidery solutions. Some of our customers include big name TV shows like Lethal Weapon, and large companies such as Toms Shoes.

We can embroider on almost any fabric material including leather and stretchy polyesters. We embroidery caps, patches, shirts, backpacks, and other items. Some of our customers call late at night, with large projects to be due the next day. It really comes down to our name: YES! Embroidery. We say yes!

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Business is tough. To be successful, you must do what nobody else is willing to do.

Many times, I’m in the office all night.

Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about YES! Embroidery – what should we know?
We offer the best quality, unique solutions, and the quickest turn around in the country, and we take on projects with complex designs that other companies say are not possible.

Any shoutouts? Who else deserves credit in this story – who has played a meaningful role?
My dad has a math brain. He always gives everything he has, and he taught me a lot of what I know. My mother is the hardest worker I know. She is up at 4:00 AM every day.

I come from a large family. 8 Kids.
