After completing my medical education and training, I began working for a large medical group in the Los Angeles area. I quickly realized the need for a doctor that would cater to high profile individuals that have special requests such as house calls and immediate access. I decided to start my own practice and have grown rapidly.
Has it been a smooth road?
Yes, fairly smooth. The most difficult aspect was medical school and residency, which included sitting in a library for 12 hours studying, to working 36 hours shifts/80 hours a week, and lack of sleep.
So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Beverly Hills Concierge Doctor story. Tell us more about the business.
I am a primary care doctor. It is a concierge medical practice, which means patients will pay me a retainer to be available 24 hours a day, and can call/text me at any time. I also make house calls. My clientele includes several A list celebs and high net worth individuals of various backgrounds. My practice is unlike any other medical practice in the Los Angeles area.
How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
Traditional medical practices are very difficult to sustain and will only get worse with time.
