Meet Eden Shea Beck

Today we’d like to introduce you to Eden Shea Beck.

Eden Shea, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I am one of the many actresses in Los Angeles.

Growing up, I started as a professional dancer. Working as a dancer was what got me started as an actor. Many of the dance auditions I would get required some acting ability, so I convinced my parents to get me into acting classes. After a few classes, I fell in love and decided to go to college for acting.

I attended both USC film and acting school where I learned both sides of the entertainment industry.

After graduating, I am in living in Los Angeles continuing to pursue my acting dreams. I’ve worked on a variety of projects from films to tv, to commercial, to print, to music videos, and even web series’. I love acting and am working hard to consistently book roles I am inspired by and excited by.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
There have been lots of obstacles and challenges along the way.

When starting my career after college, I did a ton of modeling jobs in hopes it would lead to more acting work. It helped somewhat, but it took a while to book acting jobs, let alone jobs I was excited about.

This past year I felt like I was beginning to book great roles and feeling as if I was gaining traction, but then of course the Corona Virus hit and shook the entire world and industry. It has been a scary feeling not being able to work and not knowing when I will be able to again.

I am staying positive and excited for the abundance of roles and projects that will be available once the virus settles down.

We’d love to hear more about your work and what you are currently focused on. What else should we know?
Now that production has gotten the OK to begin shooting again, within the last week I have booked few acting gigs I am excited to begin working on.

I am also looking forward to the premier at the end of this month for a movie I acted in called ‘Paranormal Attraction’, directed by Alex Hwang.

There are a few other films I completed last year and am eagerly awaiting their release this year.

What is “success” or “successful” for you?
I define success as feeling completely fulfilled and satisfied with the life you are leading. In terms of acting, I would love to consistently be booking roles that excite and inspire me and push me in ways I never even imagined.
