Today we’d like to introduce you to Dymond Muhammad.
Dymond, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
For years, I’ve been very much into how physical appearance affects mental health and overall well-being. As I entered my teenage years, I noticed that many of the products available were not safe for use in short or long-term uses. Entering adulthood, I knew one day I’d be able to come back to the cosmetic world and make a difference, but I was not quite sure how. I left my last full-time job in 2017, after having my daughter. I started making art full-time, which branched into crafting and so much more! At the start of 2019. I started to dive back into cosmetics. I began studying everything I could get my hands on. Finally ready, I launched my line of safe to use, hydrating lip glosses and sugar scrubs! I plan to expand more as we grow, and I’m very excited to see where we’ll be a year from now!
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has been a bumpy journey, but such a beautiful one as well. I was making art to survive, and it took from me creatively and emotionally more than it gave. I was finally able to thrive with making cosmetics, and I feel that this part of my journey will flourish and prosper!

Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
I remember the first time I got my make up done for a dance. My mom was nervous and excited because I was crossing into being a young adult. We danced and sang and spent the afternoon enjoying a wonderful time before I even arrived at the dance.
