Meet Dominique Loude of NiqueChelle in North Hollywood

Today we’d like to introduce you to Dominique Loude.

Dominique, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Growing up, I always knew that I wanted to be an entertainer. I started off cheering, singing, playing the piano, and later found my love for dance. I did not begin to take it serious until high school which later led me to attend college for dance in Philadelphia (The University of the Arts 17′).

While in college, I also trained outside of those four walls which gave me the opportunity to build relationships and make connections with working industry dancers and choreographers. In 2016 is when I would say I had my big break landing the opportunity to dance with Beyonce at VMA’s. Since then, I have been blessed to share the stage with several A-list artists!

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
This journey has not been as smooth as I would like it to have been. It was anticipated yet, the process is the ultimate gain at the end of the day and I want longevity. I received a handful of NO’s before I got a YES! I went to the same auditions more than once, even reconsidered my career. Although the main struggle was financial stability. None of this stopped me, but instead it pushed me to move forward. I had my mind on the end goal and I knew anything worth having will not come easy. You have to work for it!

We’d love to hear more about your work and what you are currently focused on. What else should we know?
I am a professional dancer/choreographer that specializes in several styles of dance. I also sing and model. I am most proud of my faith and resilience. I manifest everything I want in life and use hardships as motivation. It is a reminder that I am on the right path! I am often told I am a star and that when I perform my energy is contagious. My passion, my work ethic, and my signature red hair/eyebrows is what sets me apart from others!

I am currently working on a special project that will give opportunity to dancers from my home town (Detroit). Also working on some music do finally release. It’s been a long time coming! Stay tuned!

Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
My favorite childhood memory would definitely have to be when I went to Disney World for my 5th birthday! I had a blast lol. I remember everything and My birthday is exactly one week before Christmas so I got to spend that holiday there as well!
