Meet DJ DiBiase

Today we’d like to introduce you to DJ DiBiase.

DJ DiBiase, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I became interested in the art of DJing in high school and was hooked from the jump. I began producing mixtapes and distributed them throughout different high schools on the north side of Atlanta, which lead to DJing parties. While I was in college, I became involved in the ATL club/party scene and moved up the ranks. From there, I started touring with different local acts to traveling the world with bigger recording artist. After returning home I began producing my own events with my partner Sean Falyon in Atlanta, including All Vinyl Everything, Get Brunch and many more. In early 2019 I relocated to Miami, FL, to expand our brand, WGGP Events, as well as my personal DJ brand.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
I try to avoid smooth roads at all coast. Comfortably breeds contempt. Some of the struggles I’ve faced are no different than any other entrepreneur in this marathon. Living with 15 other people in a warehouse, one bathroom, one way in one way out. Being in that situation really made me focus on my grind and motivated me to put my all into my craft.

We’d love to hear more about your work and what you are currently focused on. What else should we know?
I make good things great. From a DJing aspect to marketing for restaurants/brands. I’m great at generating clientele to businesses. Building brands from the ground up gives me the most sense of accomplishment because before any money is made seeing the potential in a company and reaching that goal is the “win” for me.

Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
I’m not a believer in luck. My faith is what keeps me going in my life. Everything is preordained my GOD, the wins and the losses, but even in the bad days sometimes the lesson is the blessing.
