Meet Diane Leriche of Fresh Aire Duct Cleaning in La Crescenta and Glendale

Today we’d like to introduce you to Diane Leriche.

Diane, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
Our story is a little bit of a love story. Almost 40 years ago we (Daniel and Diane Leriche) met & married in Paris (where Daniel is from). I was working as an Estate Manager for the beautiful Sylvia Krystal (French film star). Daniel was training to be a chef. After some years in Paris we decided to return to America (where I am from). Daniel always had a love of Masonry and the old mason chimneys found in French castles and architecture. This inspired our path on the road toward the American Dream. We started up as a “mom & pop” business out of our home, me in the office and Daniel as the technician. Our earliest days were in the field of chimney cleaning & repair; then over time we expanded into all forms of duct cleaning, for both commercial and residential buildings.

We have grown our company into an award-winning business that has delivered service to tens of thousands of customers in the Greater Los Angeles Area. Bringing into our company my experience as an Estate Manager, we have become the #1 Air Duct Cleaning Company for Estate Homes.

As our family grew, our daughters joined the team. I still run the office and Daniel personally still trains and runs the crews. We are very proud of the company we have created. In an industry which has many “fly by night” companies, we have maintained our original goal, to uphold the finest service possible in a professional, friendly and efficient manner, we are Licensed Contractors and believe in keeping current in the technical advances of our trade,

We have built strong, long term relationships with our customers and the community.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
As with any small business, when starting out, struggled to grow, make a name and reputation for ourselves. Especially while raising a family. But in spite of all we encountered, we felt that honesty and quality would get us where we needed to go, and it has.

Fresh Aire Duct Cleaning – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
Air Duct Cleaning removes all the dust, debris, germs, bacteria, etc. from the indoor air systems. After cleaning, your air conditioning system will blow fresh & clean air for you to breathe. Our primary purpose is to improve the health and quality of life for others by delivering indoor air cleaning services to the highest industry standards with a sense of friendliness and company spirit.

Our high standards of cleaning and service has enabled us to service Estate Homes, even with the most architecturally unique systems. But we don’t stop there, we can service any home or business, large or small

What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
It’s hard to think of a specific moment. As a small business, we are quite proud to have survived the 2008 economic crash. Not only survived it, but came out stronger. Those were some tough times. We look at the wonderful team we have now and just beam with joy. We are still a small family business, but we are bigger than we have ever been, and we are quite proud!
