Today we’d like to introduce you to Diana Madison.
Diana, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I started my career over ten years ago blogging and on YouTube. I wanted to have a career like my idol Oprah’s and be multi-faceted like JLO. I loved how both women do acting, hosting, producing and are entrepreneurs. Oprah and JLO have really inspired me to be able to build what I have done in the last ten years all from blogging and vLOGGING on youtube. I started my brand hosting my own online talk show where I have interviewed some of the biggest names in the world, my interviews have gone viral and broke the internet.
With the company I have built Obsev Studios with my husband, we have been able to create content for an audience of over two billion views. This year alone, I launched my first cable TV show on Lifetime, Glam Masters with Kim Kardashian West, filmed my first movie as an actress with David Arquette and Jamie Lynn Sigler and set to launch my first beauty product in early 2019. I also had my second baby this past year, and I am a proud mom of two.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
I have had a very very difficult road to success. I wish I could tell you that the route to success was easy and effortless. For my journey, I have learned many valuable lessons through some of the challenges I have faced. I have learned to fail and be really good at failing.
At some point, after you have failed so much, there is light at the end of the tunnel, and things just start to shift and move into a direction that you never really thought your life would be in. I am thankful for all the obstacles and challenges because it has made me who I am today.
So, as you know, we’re impressed with Obsev Studios – tell our readers more, for example, what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
I am a storyteller. I tell stories through my work. Whether I am acting in a movie and telling someone else story, whether I am doing my influencer work on my Instagram and youtube channel, I share my personal stories.
When I am producing shows, I tell other peoples stories and provide stories that people want to hear. With my product that I will be launching in 2019, its a story I am presenting to millennial moms and for all types of woman.
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
I plan to act more with my career. I really enjoy acting and love how I can express myself through my work and talent. I am also getting ready to launch my product in the coming months which is so special for me. It has taken me two years to get this product ready. I can’t wait for the world to try my product.
