We are in our 13+ years of business and our secret to success is based on our edited buys, curating the very best jewelry and clothing and being responsible for always discovering new talent as well as working closely with sought-after exclusive designers.
80% of the store is exclusive to DES KOHAN; we work closely with all our designers to offer exclusivity.
We offer complimentary alterations. We offer complimentary styling services for DES KOHAN clients. We work closely with select LA hotels to offer their clients with an exclusive shopping experience either at their hotel suite or in store with their favorite LA
designers.
We offer custom evening gown services.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
We have been very fortunate; it has been a smooth not to mention fun road, mixing a complete balance of art, fashion and business. We have amazing clients and designers that we work with. We are very well taken care of.
We have been in the same location for 13 years! We are a destination store so people thought that would make it challenging, but quite the contrary, people seek us out and that makes the shopping experience for both parties, even more special.

Clients, stylists and editors alike like coming into the store and being greeted by us. We take very good care of our clients and offer uncompromised level of service. People like the detail of service we offer in everything that we do from our edited buys, choice of designers, displays and how we work with each individual.
We are known for building your wardrobe and interstyling it year after year vs selling disposable trendy fashion. We are known for having a keen eye; 80% of DES KOHAN Is made exclusively for our LA store and ONLINE store.
Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
I don’t believe in luck. It’s rather hard work, perseverance, talent more hard work, and a touch of timing.
