So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
As a young adult I was always planning and coordinating my family and friends’ events. This put a spark in me to want to do this as a business to assist others. That spark faded over time being busy with my own family and work. In my early 30’s my love (Gustavo) wanted to re-spark that fire I had and make my dream a reality that I prolonged for so long. He went to work in getting my domain name, email address and built a website for me. It was now up to me to do something with it all. I started slowly with the basics; business cards and creating a Facebook page for my business. This grew into being a part of wedding and quinceanera expos to yelp to being on The Knot. The company went from event planning only to offering DJ services and in-house photo booth services too. We are continuing to grow and love that this is something we can do as a family and share with others.
Has it been a smooth road?
For the most part everything has gone very smoothly with the support of my family. The only challenge I could say we have faced is getting off to a good start. The company started off very slow and has gradually began picking up more business from expos, referrals and advertising.

True Perfections specializes in Photo Booths, DJ services, or event planning/coordination. We take pride in our work and strive to be the best out there. Our model is “A Stress Free Experience” we strive to do just that for all our clients. We are known for our customized photo booth templates. This really sets us apart from others and we don’t charge extra for it. It’s a template built to your theme of event. The clients love it. I’m so proud that we can offer services to people that are truly satisfied and refer us to others.

What I like best about our city is that there are always things going on all around us, never a dull moment. What I like least about our city is that sometimes we want things to slow down a bit to enjoy life itself. Everyone is always in a hurry.

- Our photo booth minimum is 3 hours for $375 and $100 for each additional hour
- Our DJ services start at $100.00 an hour
