Today we’d like to introduce you to Dennis Alcocer.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I went to school for automotive and smog. I worked for someone in the same field for about 4 years. Then had an opportunity to start my own shop. So, I did. It has its ups and downs but I always push to keep it going.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Many struggles, not a smooth road at all. Even now we still have our struggles. But that’s how the business is. You just have to keep on pushing.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with P&W Auto Service and Smog Test – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
We do a range of automotive repairs and smog test. We pride ourselves on the work that we do and we believe in providing excellent customer service. Customer satisfaction is key and is why I say we stand out. Just recently we became a 5-star service rating shop on Yelp. And I must say that I am very proud of that.

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
As of right now, the plan is just to get more customers and grow. Until then, I’m sure I’ll think of new things for the shop.
