Today we’d like to introduce you to Denelrius Hall.
Hi Denelrius, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I’m from Albany, Georgia a small city that doesn’t get noticed. We started a clothing brand back in 2020 with my partner Zay William. When we first started, we didn’t know what we were doing. We were using a heat press from our local printing company. The only people who were buying were the people we were close to, so we took a year and a half off from selling clothes. We started doing research and learning how to run a brand we came up with our brand name Cash Rules because you can’t do anything without money so during that time I went and got a job at a chicken plant. So during that time, I used my work check to get different samples for our clothing brand so we relaunched at the end of the summer in 2022 that’s when we dropped tee shirts and mesh shorts sets that went crazy during the first week. We dropped people who already knew who we were but our brand didn’t get noticed until we dropped our flared jogging pants and other clothing brands. Owners started reaching out to us to buy the flared jogging. Currently, our sales numbers are insane from when we first started I’m glad we took time off to fully understand how to grow a brand correctly.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
When we first started, it was rough. We thought we knew what we were doing but we didn’t and we kinda were doing cheap work with a heat press so our printing wasn’t high quality. So we had to work with our budget so the only people who were buying our product were the people who were close to us. So we kind of were giving our product away for free to grow a fan base we didn’t get noticed until we dropped our flared joggers we saved enough money to actually start working with a real manufacturer.
As you know, we’re big fans of Cash Rules Clothing Brand. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
I am the owner of the Cash Rules Clothing Brand. I handle everything really from the marketing designs, but I really specialize in the designs. I design everything myself but I got a graphic designer. I create/ draw out my ideas on paper then I send them to my graphic designer. He brings my ideas to life. What makes me stand out from others is my hard work. I make sure I do something with my brand every day like making different content. I do sales so it will give others an opportunity to buy our product for people who can’t afford it at regular price.
How can people work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
People can support me by simply liking or following my brand page. I haven’t collaborated with anyone yet I’m still learning and building myself that’s why I haven’t collaborated with anyone yet. I feel like I still have a lot of learning to do.
