Deepak, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I come from an engineering background with extensive experience in electrical engineering design for buildings and infrastructure. Over the years, I’ve also had the opportunity to manage large-scale projects across various sectors. Traveling has always been a passion of mine. From a young age, I was drawn to exploring new places and immersing myself in different cultures, foods, and people. Early in my career, I had the chance to live in several major cities across India, which was an enriching experience—India’s diversity really shaped my perspective on the world. Living in these cities gave me a deeper connection to the culture, beyond just the typical travel experience.

Later on, I moved internationally, working in the Middle East on several interesting building design projects across different countries. Sustainability has always been close to my heart, and I was fortunate to volunteer with the US Green Building Council for about four years. The opportunity to travel and meet like-minded professionals in New York was an especially memorable experience for me.

In terms of hobbies, I’m passionate about mountaineering—I’ve summited Mount Kilimanjaro and trekked to Everest Base Camp. I’m also a certified scuba diver with an international PADI Open Water license, and I enjoy playing badminton and writing in my spare time.

The story of JODOGO officially began in 2020, though the idea had been taking shape the year before. It all started with a conversation with a close friend who had significant experience in technology. After exploring several ideas, we decided to focus on transforming the airport experience by integrating technology and personalized services. My own travel challenges played a big part in shaping that vision. What started as a personal frustration with the airport experience quickly grew into a broader vision to improve it. There were many challenges in getting the company off the ground—registering in the United States, connecting with airports, building a network of greeters, and forming partnerships. But after a few months, I started seeing JODOGO pop up in search results, and that’s when it really started to feel real. Watching the service grow from an idea to something that thousands of travelers rely on has been incredibly fulfilling.

As the service gained traction, and travelers shared how JODOGO made their journeys smoother and stress-free, it was a clear sign that the vision had come to life. What initially seemed like a distant goal—offering a seamless blend of technology and personalized assistance at airports worldwide—gradually became a trusted service for global travelers.

Looking ahead, JODOGO has ambitious plans for the future. We aim to establish ourselves as the favorite luxury brand worldwide for airport services, offering the ultimate in comfort and convenience for travelers. Our goal is to continue expanding in US airports, where we see tremendous opportunities to enhance the travel experience. I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It wasn’t t never smooth but really enjoyed every moment throughout the journey even it might not be an easy win. When I first started JODOGO, I never imagined I’d be registering the company in the U.S. while living in Dubai. The timing was surreal — we launched just as the first wave of COVID-19 began. Starting an airport service business in the midst of a global travel shutdown felt almost impossible. But I knew there would be an eventual need for support, perhaps more than ever, as people returned to airports, seeking ease and reassurance after a turbulent period.

Those early days were challenging and required a lot of patience. I spent months focusing on marketing, carefully building the brand, and hoping that one day JODOGO would start appearing in Google search results. It was a slow climb, but seeing it finally pop up online felt like a small victory, a sign that our persistence was paying off.

Reflecting on those first steps, I realize how much patience, resilience, and adaptability played into our success. Each hurdle taught me something valuable, and every small win felt like fuel to keep going. What started as a far-off dream is now a reality, and looking back, I’m grateful for every challenge that shaped JODOGO into what it is today.
