I moved to beautiful LA from Brooklyn, New York and I’ve always loved the vibe here. I started Davinci Slippers in 2018, a year before that I was making plush toys but felt I needed to make something that people can actually find useful and not jus look at and take pictures with, shortly after that I came up the idea to make plush house slippers that someone can wear in the house and be super comfortable especially during winter season.
Flash forward two years later, I’m happy and proud to say that everyone that has a pair of Davinci House Slippers so far love their slippers will tell you that they are super comfortable.
As a brand that is still growing and learning, the overall goal moving forward is to have everyone super cozy & comfortable especially in these uncertain times where being at home is the new norm.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
I feel like it’s never a smooth road, but to get to where you want you gotta love the ride!
Ahh man where can I start, my first headache probably started with finding the right style of shoes to make and sell, making sure it’s comfortable and function-able, that took a lil while, lol. Then it was little headaches like right designs, production, content, etc. I like to think I’m patient enough to know things take time to grow and I know Davinci Slippers is going take some time reach its full potential as a brand.
I would say the Coronavirus pandemic definitely forced me to switch up my thinking and timing on things but Davinci Slippers had all its supporters home cozy and comfortable.
