Meet Dario Ragnolo of Tidy Town Cleaning in Beverly Hills

Today we’d like to introduce you to Dario Ragnolo.

Dario, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
Started the company about 1 year ago with my partner Francesco, we both had our parents running a cleaning company back in Italy and so we decided to open one in LA. Of course, the business in Italy was really different than LA. There is a lot of market here in Los Angeles as far as cleaning companies, lots of competition but at the same time lots of customers, and the market is growing. We love to give to our customers a private feeling, and let them feel we are like part of the family, especially for those customers that requires a 1-2 times a week service. We personally love to know who our customers are, in fact many time I go to people premises and introduce myself and sometimes I bring some flowers, of course I cannot do that to everybody but I try to take care of mostly of them.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Running a cleaning company it’s not an easy thing. You’ll find many obstacles and difficulties along the way. From finding the right employees and giving them the right training, to keep them busy especially at the begin when you don’t have so much business and customers, so they’ll tell you, “you know what I’m leaving because it’s too slow and I need to work” and then customers calls you cause they need cleaning and you don’t have the staff to send, or because there are many cleaning companies out there, your competitors, and many customers will tell you that they’d rather go with another company cause its cheaper. But at the same time after a little bit that your name is out there and you try to build good reputation, customers start calling you and trusting, it’s one of the best feeling ever.

Tidy Town Cleaning – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
We are specialized in residential cleaning. We take care also of business cleaning. We really like to take care of our customers like if they are friends, and so following up with them also with text sometimes, to know how the service and the cleaning was. Unlike many other companies, we don’t charge for green cleaning products. We use them as our normal cleaners. I can tell we are really good in bathrooms cleaning, we leave them really nice, perfumed and white. We are getting lately more and more customers that need of a post construction kind of cleaning and we love to perform that. Feels like we are preparing the place where new people are going to live, and it’s a nice feeling. We operate from 7:30am to 7pm Monday to Saturday and serve a pretty vast area, that goes from Hollywood more or less to the coast, Santa Monica, Marina del Rey. But we get most of our customers from West Hollywood and Beverly hills. You can book online or give us a call and talk to go office.

What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
I really love when I call/text our customers after they’ve hired us and the tell me that we did a great job. But if I have to mention one single moment I’d like to say when we started working on bigger houses cleaning actually the first time we did, that was a 19-million-dollar home and of course there was a little pressure to make everything go perfectly. But at the end everything did go greatly and the customer hired us 3 times a week now and we are really proud.
