Dr. Moghadam, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Modern Aesthetica was the product of combining the dream of nonsurgical minimally invasive aesthetics along with cutting edge wellness.
Things needed to be more simple, with direct doctor interaction for both wellness and aesthetic needs. I’ve resisted the urge to expand because that would need more practitioners, and ultimately I’d lose the boutique, one-on-one feel my practice currently has, which my patients truly enjoy.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It’s always a struggle to plant your flag. Given that my practice really has two arms, it was difficult learning which aspects need to take priority from both a time and marketing perspective.
