Today we’d like to introduce you to Dr. Dani Benyaminy.
Dr. Benyaminy can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
After graduating from NYU-College of Dentistry and moving back to Los Angeles, I dedicated myself to working for different dentists throughout Southern California. It was important to me to learn about the different types of dental practices and to gain insight on various techniques and business methods. After about one year, I concurrently started seeing my own patients in a small rented space. As my clientele grew, so did the need for me to open my own private office. After one year of space planning and construction, I opened the doors to my boutique private practice in Century City. I oversaw every detail of the making of my modern office, trying to create the perfect atmosphere for a unique dental experience.
Has it been a smooth road?
Is that a rhetorical question? Ha. There have definitely been many bumps along the way but they’ve always challenged me to think outside the box and become a better problem solver. For instance, I learned so much about construction during the initial phase of building my office and changing the plans countless times are worth the reaction I get when people step into it. Growing a business came with many sleepless nights where I single-handedly did the job of others just to get things done right and in a timely manner. Interviewing and finding the right staff to build a strong team that is professional and truly cares about my patients has been time-consuming but so imperative. I am so proud of where my team and I are professionally today and it’s been worth the struggle.

Dani Benyaminy, DDS is a boutique dental practice that specializes in cosmetic dentistry. I would say I am best known for my porcelain veneers as well as my bedside manner. To expand, I would say that I don’t have the most typical approach to dentistry, rather I like to get to know my patients so that they’re comfortable during their experience. Most people do not enjoy going to the dentist but that’s something I’m trying to change. Making a patient laugh or smile during their visit can leave a lasting impression on them and is so satisfying for me.
As a company, I am most proud of my team and the way they treat every client from start to finish, they’re truly the ones that enhance the experience.
Is our city a good place to do what you do?
Los Angeles is a wonderful city to live in as well as to practice dentistry in. I’ve found that in large cities like Los Angeles, people are especially in tune with their health as well and their overall appearance. While maintaining good dental hygiene is pretty common throughout our nation, aesthetics are driving people through our door to get the perfect smile. I am dedicated to not only helping patients achieve this, but devoted to standing out from others in the field by giving each individual a personalized smile that fits their proportions and face.
