Today we’d like to introduce you to Dane Johnson.

Dane, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I first started having symptoms of Ulcerative Colitis/Crohns Disease at the age of 19 years old. By the time I was 26, I was nearly dead from the disease. Ironically, I had created a successful career as an international model despite my battle and hid it from the industry in fear I would lose my career. I eventually was able to put myself into remission through natural medicine and return to natural medicine school to become a Clinical Holistic Nutritionist. I avoided surgeries, eliminated all conventional drugs, gained 60lbs of lean muscle and took back my career!

I then started CrohnsColitisLifestye,LLC, and EfundyourHealth(501c3). CrohnsColitisLifestyle helps people create their own personalized healing programs utilizing my program called S.H.I.E.L.D. EfundyourHealth is a fundraising platform specialized to help those in need to afford alternative medicine therapy. We help pay for consulting, organic foods, lab work, supplements/herbs, and anything health related. We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
No, It has taken everything I have to create these dreams and build these companies while managing never to go broke, remain healthy and find the right methods to grow. Over the years we have had to shut down the non-profit twice due to lack of funds and i’ve taken jobs constantly to pay the expenses of the growing companies.

CrohnsColitisLifestyle has started out as only me and now has 12 people working for the company. Many times my health has suffered from my 60hr+ work weeks, I have had to continue to learn how to manage stress with a chronic “incurable” disease that had beforehand almost killed me. Juggling these goals has been very difficult but rewarding.

We’d love to hear more about your business.
I specialize in gut health, Crohn’s Disease, and Ulcerative Colitis Specifically. I help a person personalize a natural protocol for their specific needs while also helping those without funds pay for these expenses. I work with kids as young as eight years old to elders in their 70’s from all around the world.

I’m be known for achieving extremely good results that others would consider impossible, I was say this is due to our ability to constantly be innovative.I’ve helped people avoid surgeries within days before the operation, and others get out of wheelchairs.

We’ll change a diet, try a new alternative therapy, bring in another practitioner….what it takes!  I think that the fact that I nearly died from this same disease, allows me to connect with these people to a higher level. I know the mindset needed for success. I know a winning strategy when i see one. These experiences give me a edge to help someone to truly take back their health.

What were you like growing up?
I was an athlete who liked to take care of myself. I had a lot of great friends and liked being part of a loving community. I was usually nice to everyone. I did tend to be a bit lazy in school. I never expected myself to be in this position, I ate fast food from time to time and wasn’t very intrigued to learn about proper eating habits. I was most interested in getting in good shape and feeling good, i think that passion translated nicely to natural medicine.
