Today we’d like to introduce you to Dane Brodine.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
My wife and I invested in the right equipment one week after being married instead of a honeymoon. Nothing really happened right away. A couple of years down the line and we were going to have our first daughter! I quit my regular job and went door to door to try and get the business moving. I was lucky to have a friend that subcontracted me as well. I worked as much as I could with a smile on my face. Eventually getting great online reviews and doing really well word of mouth.
People always ask “how do you have such great reviews?”
I always just tell them “it’s not hard just be nice and do the best job possible.”
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
At first, it was a struggle with bills and no form of regular income. My family and friends helped a lot during that time and still do in other ways.

Brodine Steam Cleaning specializes is cleaning carpet, upholstery, tile & grout ( we also do water damages). All of our products are green and are the same products I use around my own children. We are known for a great work ethic, doing a great job, and also being very friendly.
I am most proud of actually making it this far with my business. I didn’t finish college and I feel like it was all meant to be after all. It is nice being able to take care of my family and maybe stop in during the day in between jobs to say hi.
What really sets us apart is not leaving products in the care when we leave. We also have the best attitude and work ethic around.
What were you like growing up?
Growing up was awesome! Typical south bay kid. Surfing, skateboarding, fishing, camping, etc….

Dane is the best! Has cleaned my carpets for years, always an excellent job. My carpets never looked better. But there is something special about Dane as a person. His attitude is always great and he has so much integrity! Just a pleasure to be around. Always has a smile on his face and does the job quick and easy. Can’t recommend him enough!

I own Westwood Property Management and have used Dane to clean all my buildings and houses from Bel Air to Beverly Hills. He is the best!

Hey guys .. if you are animal lovers like I am Dane is your guy always been very patient with moving the dogs from room to room cares for them unlike other companies I ever used that shrug their shoulder when they know you have a dog or any animal to me that is important great service great prices and always does a great job and best of all there on time …his products are green and clean animals and children safe most other companies you never know what you’re getting all in all highly recommended !!
