Today we’d like to introduce you to Dana Bresin.
Dana, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
My background is in the restaurant industry, my parents were restaurant owners and I was trained at a very young age to do every position there was to ensure that as a manager of the restaurant I could do any job. Later, I became a youth advisor during my college years which exposed me to family dynamics and created a love for working with families. I graduated CSUN with a degree in English and then moved on to the floral design business. I started my company about 10 years ago with the influence of friends and family to bring all the talents that I had together to create beautiful events with feeling and meaning for people. I am very committed to what I do all the details and fun that a client brings in we can create.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
I think for the most part anytime you love what you do the road is smooth. I have learned from each and every client a new detail to re think or a modification and as long as I keep learning I think that this is a smooth road
Please tell us about DB Creativity.
We are a full service event planning, design and coordination company. We produce social, Philanthropic and Corporate events. We are lucky enough to share in many life milestones, Weddings, bar\bat mitzvahs, raising money for causes so in need, sharing with the community afterwards. We are so proud of our efforts to share with our community we offer donation services after events for flowers to WeSpark and End of the night table extras to the children of Police Activities League Supporters (PALS) We care about our clients and hand hold them through emotionally charged times and support them in the celebrations. We are unique in our approach to each event trying never to repeat and always making each event special to our clients to reflect them and their experiences.
If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
I’m not sure – I have learned so many lessons from each and every event. I think that this idea of doing differently, I look at from a different angle -I do something different every time because I have the desire to always be better at what I do – so constantly learning is the way I approach my business – no regrets.
