Meet Dan Stueve of Dan Stueve Properties in Hollywood

Today we’d like to introduce you to Dan Stueve.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Dan. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I got started because I was unhappy in my previous career. I was in the Law field. I was looking for a change in my life, both professionally and personally. I didn’t know what I wanted to do but many people would encourage me to try real estate. I was immediately hesitant but after a while I figure I give it a try. I got my license and the rest is history.

I got to where I am today by working hard, being professional, and not giving up despite the endless obstacles in this business. Following up with clients has been very important too. Also, finding the element that made it fulfilling for me and was complimentary to my business was key.

Has it been a smooth road?
It has not been a smooth road! Despite what some may see on television, it is a challenging field. There’s a lot of competition and a lot of let downs.

There are so many different aspects of real estate, which is part of what makes it so much fun and dynamic. You figure out what you enjoy, and what you don’t enjoy can always be outsourced.

It is not an easy road, however. There are clients that can disappoint you; as some can be less faithful than you. Friendships are sometimes put on the line too. At the end of the day, though, you have to remember it is a business. We all want the best service and deal, and that is imperative to my approach.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Dan Stueve Properties – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
I do residential real estate. I have a team and do regional business and sales that are not limited to just one area. In addition, I manage the Keller Williams Studio City office of over 250 agents.

I am known for my approach to marketing myself and the way I interact with my social media audience. I am also a social and networking agent, and therefore constantly meeting people and connecting and building relationships. I am lucky that I have been able to achieve so much.

I am proud of the fact that I am where I am today. It is a very competitive industry and in a relatively short period of time, I have been able to accomplish a lot.

One of my proudest moments was my $7.5 million Beverly Hills sale which came from a friend who wasn’t even planning on using me as their agent. Through my relationship with him and perseverance and follow through with him I was able to attain this sale and also find the buyer. Also, my role here at KW Studio City is a big accomplishment for me.

Lastly, I have been coaching agents and have found that to be the most rewarding aspect of what I do. I never thought I would be a “teacher” to others. I love seeing them succeed and helping them find their way in this industry.

Who also deserves credit? (Mentors, supporters, advocates, clients, etc.)
I had support from the very beginning. I had many people tell me they wanted to be my first client. That support allowed me to find my confidence and figure out the logistics.

Joining Keller Williams has also been very inspiring. They are all about helping others and sharing. The support I had from seasoned agents and the culture that is palpable in KW has been a big support!
