Meet Cynthia Rosales of Roslensphotos

Today we’d like to introduce you to Cynthia Rosales.

Cynthia, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
My love for photography started sophomore year. I had to choose an elective – it was between art or photography. I remember thinking, whatever it’s just another elective l – no biggie! But the day we entered the black room to develop is when I knew this was going to be an amazing experience. After high school, I stopped pursuing it. But I picked up my camera again (2020) after having a conversation about photos and life with one of my closest friends (she is also a professional photographer – and a good one too!) my love for landscape and street photography was my niche from the start but fast forward to now (2023- wow time goes by so fast!) I’ve come to love capturing candid moments and weddings. I’m still learning, always a student and pursuing my passion for this art.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Oh man! Re-learning my camera in manual setting has been a learning experience. learning how to capture sharper images or adjust setting to the time of the day was a struggle. I definitely have improved on that- coming from the first picture until now – night and day!

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
I specialize in Lifestyle and Wedding Photography. Anything from Branding, Family and engagements.

My goal as a photographer is to make your experience feel seamless and fun. My why? Photography lets me capture candid, loving and authentic moments. The details, the moment you looked away and didn’t see that photo coming is priceless. I love storytelling with an image and I believe every session is very unique and not one is the same.

I offer different services and every session is tailored to its needs.

Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
Photography – it is always evolving. That’s the beauty of it – to be honest. Learning new trends, what’s “in” and experimenting with your creative side.
