Meet Crystal Duran of CrystalArts Dance Academy in Tarazana

Today we’d like to introduce you to Crystal Duran.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Crystal. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I once had a dream and now it has become a reality. I am a 24-year-old named Crystal who owns a dance studio in the valley.

My love for dance started at a young age because my father would dance with me. He became my first dance instructor since we couldn’t afford dance classes. It wasn’t until later I decided to take classes in high school since they were free. Who knew that a dance program would influence your life! After high school, things kicked off well with some bumps on the road of course. I’ve accomplished so much as a 24-year-old. I had the opportunity to work with Television networks, amazing people such as Shemar Moore, had the chance to travel and teach at well-known dance studios and dance congresses, graduated with a Kinesiology-Dance B.S, and now the owner of a dance studio where dance classes are affordable for all ages. It’s a place where you can call home and where you can “Crystallize your Arts”.

Has it been a smooth road?
Through my journey, there have been a few bumps but two major events that affected me along the way was my parent’s separation and my Dad’s stroke. Besides God, Family is everything to me.

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the CrystalArts Dance Academy story. Tell us more about the business.
CrystalArts Dance Academy is where DIVERSITY and CREATIVITY exists! We specialized in all styles of dance and in different Arts for all ages. We offer classes with experienced instructors at an affordable price. CrystalArts is a place you can call home. All these things set us apart from others dance studios/Academies.

How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
Continue having the same concepts but expand in other states/countries.
