Meet Nadereh Kucheki of Creative Touch Designs

Today we’d like to introduce you to Nadereh Kucheki.

Nadereh, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I started right after I graduated from Cal State Long Beach in Interior Design. I started with a landscape design firm, where I did their drawings by hand. At that time the computerized drafting was not available.

After that, I started my own business with doing Murals and Faux Finishes, it was very popular back then. It was also a great way to get clients and offer them design services. I participated in three show case houses of design, very exciting experience. I have practiced all different areas of design, from residential remodeling to commercial design in restaurants and boutiques. I love every opportunity, large or small, it’s all a great learning and experience. I get to play and get paid for it. It’s an awesome job.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Nothing is ever smooth, but without the road bumps and challenges you don’t learn. I love every challenge I face, it keeps preparing me for bigger jobs.

Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Creative Touch Designs – what should we know?
We specialize in 3D design, remodeling, space planning, color, flooring, furniture, lighting, and landscaping. You name it we do it!

Any shoutouts? Who else deserves credit in this story – who has played a meaningful role?
I give the credit to my clients who have given me the opportunity to work in their home or business and allowed me to perfect my talent.
