Today we’d like to introduce you to Christopher Glenn.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Christopher. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I’m a native of Milwaukee, WI and I currently live in California. I’m a SAG/AFTRA Actor, Rapper and Model. I enjoy producing music and writes lyrics under the pseudonym “Yung Cory” Many of my songs have been in rotation on radio. In addition to my budding music career, I also filmed in several National Commercials, the most recent HONDA HRV commercial. Apple Music, Finish line, McDonald’s, Dave & Buster, Fresh Empire and let’s not forget the Swiffer commercial which was filmed in my hometown in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I also landed roles in films The Culprit, Insecure, Exit Zero, Casual, Dope, Duffel, Switched at Birth, Rizzoli & Isles, The Goldberg’s and Fear Factor. I recently walked the runway during Fashion Week in LA and I’m coming out with my headband line “The YC Collection” Music is my passion. I’m the CEO of “YC Entertainment” and I’m currently working on my EP “The Yung Cory Story” which is dropping in January 2020, each song tells a story and in a style of its own. I will tell you… Saying I’m a workaholic is an UNDERSTATEMENT.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
The road hasn’t been as smooth as I would have imagined it to be. Finding the right team who has the same visions as me has been challenging. Its been a struggle simply trying to balance everyday life along with having had a business (YC Entertainment) and working as a recording artist.
Tell us more about your work.
I’m the CEO of “YC Entertainment”. I promote and brand myself as the talent of my own company to draw out larger audiences by performing at different venues. I also have a Headband line that I’m currently designing to produce merchandise for my brand. I’m most proud that I’ve taken total control of my career and business, I have the vision and the knowledge to succeed.
Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
I don’t believe in luck… I believe in Manifestation! I know that keeping the Faith is what has gotten me this far. I Speak It then I Vision It and from there I’m unstoppable because whatever I put my mind to I can do it. For me, it all starts with FAITH!
