Today we’d like to introduce you to Christina and Peter Lee.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Christina and Peter. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
My husband and I met during my last year in dental school at the University of Southern California. After graduation, I worked as an associate dentist at a private dental practice and he went on to orthodontic residency training at UCLA. People often ask what it is like to be in the same field or work together. We consider it a blessing to share something we are both passionate about and to have the opportunity to learn and challenge each other.
Has it been a smooth road?
We took over a reputable dental office that was family run for 20 years over two generations. Understanding that patients get attached to their family dentist, we knew we would have to go above and beyond to gain their trust and confidence to be their new dentists. We renovated the office, implemented more technology, and added specialty services to be a more patient-focused office. Fortunately, the transition has been smooth and the feedback has been extremely positive.
Although our journey has not always been easy, it has been very humbling and rewarding for our professional and personal growth. I am fortunate to be in a position that challenges me to not only be a better clinician but also continue to grow as a leader that my amazing team can count on.
