Meet Chris Relth of Artemis Search Partners in Irvine

Today we’d like to introduce you to Chris Relth.

Chris, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Artemis Search Partners was named after the Greek Goddess of the Hunt. Her bow and arrow are legend, and she is revered for the elegance and refinement she displayed in her pursuits. As an executive search firm, we pay homage to our namesake by embodying these same qualities. In an industry dominated by algorithms, we strive to infuse a sense of artistry by making the otherwise unattainable candidates attainable to our clients. This is how we exceed expectations with every search, every time.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Ironically, hiring for our internal team has been one of our biggest challenges. Executive search has long sales cycles, so this requires a great deal of patience and grit. If you work hard and do what you say you are going to do, these things in turn build relationships, and will inevitably result in more doors opening up. This is how we have been able to earn trust from our clients.

Artemis Search Partners – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
Artemis Search Partners focuses on contingent permanent placement and provides nationwide executive search services. Whether our client is a rising start-up or a Fortune 500 juggernaut, we believe in a customized, concierge-style approach to permanent search. Our team of recruitment partners and research analysts work diligently to ensure our clients always receive the absolute best candidates.

What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
I am most proud of the relationships I have built along the way. I’ve been incredibly fortunate to meet amazing people who have become team members, clients, mentors, and friends. I am proud that the foundations of these relationships are genuine in which I can deeply connect with each person. It is energizing to me and keeps things exciting because I can be talking business with a client one minute and then the next minute we are scheduling the next time we are going to play golf.
